It was Luke’s first time to hike and he enjoyed it so much that it looks like it won’t be his last!
As I was on my last few weeks of pregnancy, I wasn’t able to join my boys on the hike up at Mount Purro. So for this blog entry, allow me to share more photos that details. I hope to join them back next time so I can give a proper review about the place!
Mount Purro Nature Reserve
Mount Purro is a family-run eco park. You can easily find them on Waze and drive there by car. They offer many different activities but for this daytrip, the boys chose to get the “Hike, Eat, Swim” package.
The “Hike, Eat, Swim” package includes a buffet lunch and access to the facilities such as the hiking trails, pool, shower, playground, game rooms and cabanas. As they went on a holiday, it costs P1200/adult and P750/child.
Hiking with Kids at Mount Purro!
The boys arrived at Mount Purro around 8am but started their hike at 10am as they waited for other people in the group. They took a private guide for an additional P250.
Luke hiked with one of his best friends, Brice!
Mor says bringing a hiking stick really helped them!
Luke was 3.5 years old during the time of the hike and he thoroughly enjoyed. It was also very doable already (as what Mor said) although they didn’t complete it the whole way up to the river anymore because the kids were already hungry!
Buffet Lunch After!
After a good hike, it was time to refuel! Filipino food (and they have my favorite: Pako Salad!!!)
Swimming & Playing
After lunch, they decided to swim and take advantage of the beautiful outdoor playground. Of course, the boys had tons of fun here!
I would go just for this gorgeous playground.
Nothing beats a good outdoor adventure so I hope to join them the next time (maybe with Dylan too!) Have you been to Mount Purro? What did you think about the place? Let us know in the comments below!
