Are the kids looking for something to do at home to beat the summer heat?
Here are 5 super easy, healthy smoothies your kids can make on their own (or with you, of course!) I can assure you that they will absolutely love these, because mine did!
1. Hello Yellow
For kids who love their sweets with a little kick, this tasty, lemony drink is for you! It’s a mixture of sweet and sour, soft and crunchy! Add a dash of cinnamon too (great for oral health and can even help in cough and colds!) and you’re ready to go.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 a lemon
- 5 cubes of Pineapple
- 1 whole Banana
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tsp. Herbilogy Cinnamon Powder
- 2 tbsp. crushed Graham crackers
- 1 sachet Bifina probiotics
- Water (to taste, depending on how thick or not you want the mixture to be)
- Optional: Honey, to taste
Directions:
- Squeeze lemon.
- Add the pineapple, banana, milk, water and cinnamon powder together in the blender. Blend!
- Pour mixture into glass.
- Top it off with crushed Graham crackers and a sachet of Bifina.
2. Summer Sunshine
Perfect for a hot summer day, this cooler is a sure to brighten up the day! Your little helper will enjoy whipping up this drink (especially with all the bright fruity colors!)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 a lemon
- 1/2 an orange
- 1 whole banana
- 1 tsp Herbilogy Java Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Herbilogy Pomegranate Peel Powder
- Water (to taste, depending on how thick or not you want the mixture to be)
Directions:
- Squeeze lemon and orange.
- Add the water, banana, Java Turmeric powder and Pomegranate Peel powder together in the blender. Blend!
- Pour mixture into glass.
3. Very Berry
If you can get a hold of frozen berries, you’ll wanna make this smoothie! Blueberries are considered a superfood because they have a variety of health benefits. For kids, they help in bone health, blood circulation and even helps improve eyesight! It’s super easy to make too.
Ingredients:
- 5 pcs. frozen strawberries
- 10 pcs. frozen blueberries
- 1 whole banana
- 1 cup of milk
- Water (to taste, depending on how thick or not you want the mixture to be)
- 1 tsp Herbilogy Rosella Flower Powder
Directions:
- Add everything together in the blender. Blend! (Easy, right?!)
- Pour mixture into glass.
3. Morning Boost
Looking for a morning boost? This smoothie is perfect to pair with your favorite toast for breakfast! The probiotic granules add to the unique texture that your kiddos will enjoy.
Bonus tidbit: Turmeric is actually good for asthmatic children because it’s anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic. Welcome!

- 1 whole Banana
- 5 slices of Apple
- 1 tbsp of oats
- 1 tsp Herbilogy Moringa Powder
- 1 tsp Herbilogy Java Turmeric
- 1 sachet Bifina probiotics
- Water (to taste, depending on how thick or not you want the mixture to be)
- Optional: Honey, to taste
Directions:
- Prepare oats in a separate mug: If you have instant oats, add hot water and stir.
- Add the banana, apple, oats mixture, powders and water in a blender and blend.
- Pour mixture into glass.
- Top it off with 1 sachet of Bifina.
5. Chunky Monkey
Show me a kid who doesn’t love peanut butter and bananas! All your little monkeys will LOVE this drink. And if you have a little one struggling with eating their veggies, we’re adding Moringa powder to this mix so they can get the vitamins and nutrients they need (without their knowing it!)

Ingredients:
- 1 whole Banana
- 1 tsp of Peanut Butter
- 1 tsp Herbilogy Moringa Powder

- 1 tsp Cacao Nibs
- 1 cup Milk
- Water (to taste, depending on how thick or not you want the mixture to be)
Directions:
- Add the banana, peanut butter, powders, milk and water in a blender and blend.
- Pour mixture into glass.
- Top it off with cacao nibs!
