I’m not a fan of big parties but I LOVE hosting fun themed parties at home!
So for my birthday this year, I decided to host a Star Wars kiddie party at a galaxy far far away (a.k.a. our living room,) complete with a Jedi Training session c/o Clowning Around Manila!
Jedi Academy with Clowning Around Manila
We got the Jedi Academy package of Clowning Around Manila for the event. Clowning Around Manila specializes in kiddie parties and offers character hosts, mini musical performances and other entertainment shows.
What’s different about them from other character performance companies is that their shows are very interactive, which I love! You’ll see what I mean as you read along.
Robes and Lightsabers, Ready!
Before we begin our training, we need to make sure everybody’s ready! Clowning Around Manila’s staff assisted the kids in getting into their robes and helped them pick their lightsabers.
The package already includes the robes and lightsabers for the kids, which they get to keep! How awesome is that?!
And aren’t these just the cutest padawans ever? Huhu.
Jedi Training (with Yoda Yoga!)
We start off with some basic training with two Jedi Masters and Rey!
The kids were taught the “Saber Salute,” some basic moves and how to properly wield their lightsabers.
There was also a Yoda Yoga session where they were taught how to use The Force! 😉 They were all super cute. I have no words. Haha.
Uh Oh, It’s Kylo Ren!
Oh no, we have an unexpected guest at the party! There’s a disturbance in The Force. Rey tries to defeat Kylo Ren but is unsuccessful. She needs the help of our young padawans!
The Jedi Masters ask for help and nobody wanted to duel with Kylo Ren!! Hahaha! But this brave little girl stepped up (the youngest of the bunch, may I add,) and she did such an amazing job!
So amazing, that the others followed suit! Yay!
Luke tried his best as well, with Daddy’s help! I didn’t name him “Luke” for nothing! 😉
… And I got my chance too (after all, it’s my birthday! Hehehe!)
Defeating Kylo Ren with The Force!
And with one final blow, everyone gave their loudest shout! YAY Kylo Ren was defeated!
Now Time for a Group Hug with Kylo Ren!!
The kids then tried to muster up the courage to give Kylo Ren a group hug! Hehe. Not so scary anymore! Awww…
The kids were also happy to have the chance to take photos with Kylo Ren and Rey!
Clowning Around Manila’s performance was so much fun and everybody had a great time. All the parents were so excited seeing their kids duel and everybody’s cameras were out in full force. Haha.
Really loved that the kids were able to really participate, complete with their own robes and lightsabers.
It was such a fun-filled, interteractive experience and I’m so glad I got them for our intimate party.
The force was definitely strong that morning! 😉
An Hour After…
And to show you guys how much fun our kids had, they were all still dueling with each other long after the Jedis left. (Not to mention that my son has been in a Star Wars phase since the party (and it’s been 3 weeks since!)
Thank you, Clowning Around Manila, for turning my son into a Star Wars fan! 😉
